Keeping the Peace

War is brutal and selfishly done.
The death of hundreds is caused by just one.
An innocent martyr, a crowd massacre,
Could be put to an end if just two would concur.

Why is the peace so damn hard to maintain?
Why is it difficult to give up the pain?
Why do we stand here and let it pass by?
Don't fight for a cause and don't fight for a lie.
Don't fight if you don't want more people to die.
Don't fight if you don't want more wars to be fought.
Don't fight if you only want peace to be brought.

War is a savage with bloodthirsty eye.
Never it ends until thousands have died.
Under belief it will set their world free
Life is taken so carelessly.
