Freedom in the Snow
(In memory of the Mighty Ducks)

Six of us, Earth's only hope.
No one ever asked if we could cope.
We have lost and we have won.
We have kept on going strong.
Birds of a feather we'll stick together.
Defending right from wrong...

Is there freedom in the snow?
Is it like we used to know?
Do the kids now shoot the goal?
Does the world have back its soul?
Do the pucks fly high through a bright clear sky?
Is there freedom in the snow?

The paths we chose were all our own.
Light and dark was neither good nor wrong.
Days go by and games are played.
Wars are fought and prices paid.

Here we are, and here we'll stay.
'Til the battle's won that final day.
Somewhere out there our home awaits.
We wait for chance to unlock the Gate.
But liberty's blocked by our enemies
So all we can do is wonder and wait...

Through times of hate and of delight.
We keep striving to win this fight.
Together we're one family.
For ever that is what we'll be.
And perhaps one day we'll find our way
Back to our snowy liberty...

Is there freedom in the snow?
Is it like we used to know?
Do the kids now shoot the goal?
Does the world have back its soul?
Do the pucks fly high through a bright clear sky?
Is there freedom in the snow?
